Day 37 - Friday, July 18, 2024 - Our last day in Bergen Norway
Wayne and I took advantage of the included tour to hitch a ride to the pier this morning. We had already done this exact tour back in June, so we had another chance to get out and walk around where we wanted. The weather today was really nice and warm enough for short sleeves!
Wayne and I visited the indoor fish market. He hadn't been in it. I had, two days ago.
But walking around looking at the fresh fish for sale is always of interest to me.
We wandered, stopped and had a cup of coffee and did some serious people watching.
This had to be a 5 lb lobster at a minimum ( dead)
Alive 😀
Some healthy king crab legs
Caviar, anyone? Sorry, not bringing any home
I love looking at pastry. This apple tart is no exception.
That's dried cod hanging from in high
Wayne was able to catch our tour bus back to the ship and I continued shopping and looking before I headed back to the ship.
Pictures as I headed back to the ship
These stairs were in the old Bryggen buildings. They were more cockeyed than the picture makes it out
All in all, a quiet, relaxing day.
Tomorrow, we dock in Eidfjord and hope the weather is as warm as predicted and sunny so the fjord and the waterfalls will be spectacular. Here's hoping.
Absolutely delicious looking food
